Valencia’s airport is located 1 hour 10 minutes from Alcoy, 117 kilometres though the A-7 and V-31 motorway connect the two cities.

Its top destinations in Spain are the airports of Madrid-Barajas, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona-El Prat and Sevilla, whilst its top international destinations are France (Paris), England (London), Italy and Holland.

It has two passenger terminals: the main terminal, comprised of T1 and T2, where national and international flights run; and the terminal of Aviación Reginal, which runs regional flights. It is also provided with a general aviation terminal and a cargo terminal.

The airport of Alicante-Elche is located 45 minutes from Alcoy, 65 kilometres that you can ride smoothly through the A-7 motorway.

Around ninety per cent of the flights of this airport are international, which reflects the crucial role of tourism. The United Kingdom, Germany, Holland and Norway provide the most passengers. Furthermore, scheduled national flights have increased during these past years. Barcelona, Madrid and Mallorca are the most sought after destinations.

In the year 2018, the airport of Alicante-Elche had a registered traffic of 15.047.840 passengers, 101.408 operations and 4.032 tonnes of cargo.

Valencia’s harbour funnels the traffic of all kinds of goods of every economic sector. Its main clients include the following areas: furniture and wood, textile, footwear, farming, agricultural and food (grain and feed, wine and drinks, canned food, fruit, etc.), energy (diesel, oil, coal, etc.), chemical, automobile (Ford, Fiat, Land Rover, Jaguar, etc.), construction work (concrete and clinker, tile work, marble, etc.), machinery, etc.

In addition, ships sail on schedule to the Balearic Islands and Italy and, during these past years, Valencia’s harbour has experienced one of the greatest cruise traffic increases of the Mediterranean.

Alicante’s harbour features excellent connections and quick and safe transport with direct links to any place within the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe.

The station AVE – VILLENA is located 40 minutes from Alcoy through the A-7.

The A-7 is a motorway belonging to the Red de Carreteras del Estado that starts in Algeciras and ends in Barcelona.

The improvement of Alcoy’s section was built between 2009 and 2011.
